Reporting to the Head of Space Planning & Visual Merchandise this role is responsible for creating and maintaining customer-focused planograms across multiple merchandise categories and store formats in Australia and New Zealand. You will drive space & GMROM productivity, improve stock availability through accurate planogram execution, centralised ordering alignment and ongoing range review cycles.

Using Macro Space Planning tools, you will analyse store performance, deliver actionable space optimisation recommendations and ensure strong store data integrity across the fleet using space planning software.

This is a key role supporting range execution, store layout and overall commercial performance across the Baby Bunting network.

Key deliverables

• Create and maintain customer-led planograms using Nielsen Spaceman across multiple categories.
• Maintain approved store range assortments using Spaceman software to ensure the right ranges land in the right stores.
• Be the lead Space Planner for category range reviews to drive profitable outcomes.
• Analyse space performance and ROI (GMROM/GMROI).
• Partner with key stakeholders to approve and roll out new and updated planograms.
• Maintain presentation standards, display quantities and store links via My.Spaceman.
• Support Merchandise and Store teams with layouts, ranging and space optimisation.
• Prepare planograms and layouts for new and refurbished stores.
• Create & maintain macro layouts, adjacencies and floorplans across the store network.
• Provide hands-on testing, setup packs and occasional onsite support for store openings.

What we’re looking for (your toolkit + superpowers)

Space planning pro – 3+ years using tools like Spaceman, Blue Yonder or similar, and you know how to make every square metre work harder.

Planogram perfectionist – you build high-performing layouts and spot the tiniest detail that’s out of place.

Tech confident – comfortable across Microsoft Office, BI, ITV and Adobe Suite (including Photoshop or similar).

Cool under pressure – organised, practical and able to juggle deadlines without breaking a sweat.

• Fast, flexible and adaptable – you thrive in change, manage your time like a pro and keep things moving.

Team player with influence – you build great relationships and know how to bring stakeholders along for the journey.

Naturally creative – full of ideas for smarter displays and fresh ways to showcase product.
