The purpose of this role is to provide maintenance services for all BOC installations at our client’s sites across Victoria. Further to this, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring BOC equipment reliability and integrity on client sites. Based in the Preston/Melbourne region, this role would suit someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, who possesses experience within a mechanical/technical service industry and enjoys regular travel required for the role.

What you will enjoy doing

• Mechanical maintenance of equipment on customer and BOC sites with a focus on medical, industrial, food, scientific and hospitality industries
• Installation and removal of equipment
• Calibration and testing of gas analysers at customer and BOC sites
• Technical support and troubleshooting of equipment
• Maintenance of Cryogenic vessels is required in this role
• You will conduct audits and inspections of equipment for safety and condition
• Completing planned maintenance and breakdown tasks as required
• Communicating with customers face to face and over the phone
• Work closely with local project management and sales team
• Driving long distances as required
• Support to CES Tasmanian operations that may include several short trips to Tasmania each year

What makes you great

• Trade qualifications within Mechanical (such as Fitting/Plumbing) or Instrumentation field or demonstrated relevant experience
• Troubleshooting or fault-finding experience
• Unrestricted driving license
• You have excellent communication skills required to build and maintain customer relationships
• Availability for regular travel
• A flexible work mindset and ability to work autonomously
• Additional desirable requirements which would be an advantage is a a white card or equivalent general construction induction, forklift license, Maintenance or project installation experience. and experience working on pipe and tubing, as well customer service experience
