About The Role

Join our team as a Site-Based Plant & Equipment Officer in Goulburn, NSW, and play a key role in keeping our depot, fleet, plant and equipment operating safely, efficiently and ready to support critical infrastructure projects. You'll coordinate day-to-day depot operations, manage fleet and equipment allocation, support maintenance and compliance activities, and ensure assets are fit for purpose and optimally utilised.

Working closely with project teams, you'll drive continuous improvement, maintain accurate asset records, and champion safe work practices across the site. We're looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with experience in plant, fleet, logistics or depot operations, strong administrative and data management skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Goulburn depot, ensuring all activities are conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
  • Coordinating the allocation, utilisation and movement of fleet, plant and equipment to support project delivery requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate fleet, plant and equipment records across company systems and databases.
  • Monitoring asset utilisation and identifying opportunities for fleet optimisation, cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Supporting equipment maintenance, inspections and calibration activities to ensure all assets remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Coordinating deliveries, receivals and logistics activities, including unloading, storage and distribution of equipment and materials.
  • Managing depot facilities, maintenance requests, site inspections and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and organised work environment.
  • Ensuring visitors, contractors and employees are complying with depot induction requirements, safety procedures and HSE standards.
  • Preparing and analysing asset, fleet and equipment reports while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across depot operations.

About You

To be selected for interview, your resume should highlight: Relevant experience in plant, fleet, equipment, logistics or depot operations, preferably within construction, utilities or infrastructure environments. Demonstrate your ability to coordinate asset allocation, manage equipment utilisation, maintain accurate records and support efficient project delivery. Highlight your commitment to workplace health and safety, experience with maintenance and compliance activities, and proficiency using asset management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional with strong communication, planning and stakeholder engagement skills. Examples of process improvements, operational efficiencies, reporting capabilities and successful coordination of plant and equipment activities will be highly regarded.
