Commercial Analyst

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll join a high-performing team of 4 Senior Business Analysts supporting a large-scale distribution network. The team is looking for someone who can quickly step in, provide stability and deliver high-quality commercial support.

This is a hands-on, business partnering role where you'll work closely with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful insights that drive better decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver weekly and monthly operational reporting.
• Prepare forecasts and analyse business performance.
• Analyse labour productivity, workforce planning and labour costs.
• Partner with Distribution Centre leadership to provide commercial insights.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities across operations.
• Turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ongoing business performance initiatives.
• Proactively solve business problems and support continuous improvement.

About You

You'll have experience in a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Supply Chain Analyst role and enjoy working in fast-paced operational environments.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Experience supporting Distribution Centres, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong reporting, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Experience analysing labour costs and workforce performance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain the story behind the numbers.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Strong Excel skills, with SAP experience highly regarded.
• Experience within logistics, transport, warehousing or retail supply chain environments will be highly regarded.
