Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long-form animated shows distributed on YouTube. Our channel has over 22 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode, and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP, The Amazing Digital Circus, has amassed over 400 million views on the pilot alone, and we have a lot more still to come.

Role Information

Glitch Productions is looking for a freelance Photographer/Videographer to work on-site at our Parramatta CBD studio, capturing high-quality merchandise imagery and video content. The role will consist of:

• Product & b-roll: Clean, well-lit merchandise photography and video for our online shop, campaigns, and socials.
• Social media shoots: Fun, fast, vertical & horizontal video & photo content featuring our products, casual and skit-driven rather than heavily produced.
• Editing: Cuts, colour-correction, basic sound design & balancing will be needed depending on the project.

Shoots typically run 4-5 hours, roughly once or twice a week (or every other week). Editing time is separate and additional to the shoots, and days/responsibilities may vary week to week.

Studio equipment is provided on-site, owning your own gear is not required.

Your duties will include

• Shoot merchandise photography and video for our online shop, campaigns, and social channels.
• Shoot vertical & horizontal, short-form style videos & photos in line with Glitch's existing social media tone and work.
• Edit merch and social media video including cuts, colour-correction, basic sound design & sound balancing
• Manage set-up, lighting, and basic audio for both product shots and casual skit content.
• Maintain consistent quality and visual style across product shoots and social shoots.
• Organize and archive shoot footage/photos in line with our file structures.
• Work closely with the marketing team on shot lists and shoot planning.
• Driving to exterior shoot locations when a shoot calls for it.

A successful candidate will have

• Strong experience in product/e-commerce photography & b-roll, ideally including merchandise or apparel work.
• Experience in shooting quick, casual, personality-driven video content (not just polished commercial work).
• Intermediate editing & sound design skills (Premiere Pro or similar)
• Experience with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and studio lighting.
• A strong creative eye for what looks good in social & e-commerce settings.
• Availability to work on-site in Parramatta CBD, flexible around shoot & edit scheduling.
• A driver's license & car, for occasional transport for off-site shoots.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with Glitch Productions' shows and general fandom/meme culture.
• Experience with After effects or similar motion graphic software.
