About the role
We’re looking for a passionate, organised Kitchen Operations Support superstar to join our Melbourne team on a 6-month full-time contract (with potential to go permanent). You’ll play a key role in kitchen operations, menu planning, procurement and program delivery, working closely with our Kitchen Operations Lead and wider team.
What you’ll do
- Help deliver our CFAC cooking classes and program with energy and passion
- Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards, including documentation
- Support menu planning, procurement and sustainable food sourcing
- Manage stock control to minimise wastage and build supplier relationships
- Support kitchen efficiency, team communication and event delivery
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years’ commercial kitchen experience (chef, Chef de Partie, or similar)
- Certificate III in Hospitality and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Current driver’s licence, Police Check, WWCC and First Aid Certificate
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
