This is not a traditional account management role.
We're looking for a commercially-minded Account Manager who can build strong client relationships while actively driving growth, retention, and revenue outcomes across an existing customer portfolio.
You'll work with clients across Australia, the United States, Canada, the UK, and Europe, helping them maximise value from our services while identifying opportunities to expand relationships and solve business challenges.
This role sits at the intersection of account management, customer success, and inside sales.
You'll be responsible for owning a portfolio of customers, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, driving renewals, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring clients continue to see value from our services.

Context
The business is evolving its Account Management function from a traditional customer service model into a commercially-driven team focused on retention, expansion, and long-term customer value.
This hire will play a key role in that transition.
You'll join an established team and work directly with leadership to help shape how customer relationships are managed as the business continues to scale globally.
What you'll be owning
Client Relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of SMB and mid-market clients
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Lead commercial conversations that strengthen client engagement and long-term partnerships
- Become a strategic advisor to customers rather than simply a support contact
Retention & Revenue Growth
- Drive customer retention across your portfolio
- Identify risks early and proactively protect revenue
- Uncover opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and increased service adoption
- Work closely with internal teams to convert opportunities into commercial outcomes
- Maintain strong account health and customer engagement
Commercial Account Management
- Manage renewals and contract discussions
- Ensure customers continue to realise value from our services
- Influence customer decisions through strong communication and commercial understanding
- Balance relationship-building with revenue responsibility
Portfolio Ownership
- Take ownership of customer outcomes and account performance
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene and account visibility
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to drive results
- Actively contribute ideas that improve customer experience and commercial performance

What we're looking for
You're commercially minded, relationship-focused, and comfortable having business conversations with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
You understand how to build trust while also driving outcomes.
Must-haves
- 2–4 years' experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Inside Sales, SDR, BDM, or similar client-facing commercial roles
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Confidence engaging with business owners, senior leaders, and decision-makers
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Strong ownership mentality and accountability for outcomes
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales technology
Nice-to-haves
- Experience managing recurring revenue or subscription-based customers
- Experience working in SaaS, technology, digital services, or B2B environments
- Experience with renewals, retention, or account growth responsibilities
- Background in activity-driven sales environments
- Exposure to outbound sales, SDR, or business development functions
