Business Development Manager – Sustainable Supply Chain Solutions

A national market leader in reusable packaging and circular supply chain solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their VIC team. This is a high-impact role focused on helping major manufacturers, retailers and logistics operators transition away from single-use packaging toward more sustainable, reusable systems. This organisation partners with some of Australia’s largest companies to reduce waste, improve supply chain efficiency and deliver measurable sustainability outcomes.

Your new role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across a range of industries including FMCG, retail, food production and logistics.

You will work closely with customers to understand their supply chain challenges and design solutions built around reusable transport packaging systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across VIC
• Building relationships with senior stakeholders in operations, procurement and supply chain
• Presenting tailored sustainable packaging and logistics solutions
• Managing long sales cycles and complex commercial negotiations
• Working collaboratively with internal operations and solutions teams
• Contributing to the continued growth of the circular economy in Australia

What you'll need to succeed

You are a commercially driven B2B sales professional with a track record of winning and developing strategic accounts.

You are comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers and navigating complex supply chain environments.

Ideally you will bring:

• Proven experience in B2B business development or strategic sales
• Exposure to supply chain, logistics, packaging or sustainability-focused solutions
• Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling skills
• The ability to manage complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders
• A genuine interest in sustainability and circular economy initiatives
