Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 + Super + Salary Packaging

Reporting into a highly experienced Financial Accounting leader, you'll take ownership of month-end reporting, compliance and analysis, while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to help drive informed decisions.

This is an ideal first step out of practice for someone who wants breadth. You will have exposure beyond just financial accounting and into treasury, business partnering and commercial environments guided by your direct manager - all within a complex, mission-led environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end activities including journals, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements and provide analysis to support business decisions
• Deliver variance analysis, forecasting support and ad hoc reporting
• Support treasury activities including cashflow monitoring and investment reporting
• Partner with leaders across the organisation to provide financial advice and insights
• Assist with budgeting, costing reviews and financial education initiatives
• Support compliance activities including BAS, FBT, WorkCover and audit requirements
• Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation initiatives

What You'll Bring

• CA, CPA or equivalent, trained within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (audit or business services background welcomed)
• Genuine enthusiasm for the not-for-profit and for-purpose sector — this matters as much as technical skill!
• Strong grounding in financial accounting and reporting fundamentals
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment
• A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in continuous improvement
