About the Role

As our Landscape Leading Hand, you'll play a key role in delivering projects from start to finish while leading a small, motivated construction team.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading landscape construction projects from commencement through to completion
• Supervising, mentoring and motivating team members
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries
• Reading and interpreting landscape plans and construction drawings
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and productivity
• Communicating professionally with clients, suppliers and management
• Operating excavators, skid steers and other plant equipment where required
• Ensuring all work complies with OH&S requirements

About You

We're looking for someone who brings experience, leadership and a strong eye for detail.

Ideally you'll have:

• Qualification in Landscape Construction, Horticulture or relevant industry experience
• Proven experience across both hard and soft landscape construction
• Experience leading or supervising construction crews
• Paving
• Concrete works
• Retaining walls
• Drainage
• Irrigation
• Planting
• Turf installation
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Current Driver's Licence
• Experience operating 1–8T excavators, skid steers and similar machinery
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Pride in delivering exceptional workmanship
