Your Role And Responsibilities
Solutions Engineers drive not only the early-stage evaluation within the Sales process, but also play a crucial role in enabling ongoing value realization for customers, all while helping them move up the adoption maturity curve. In this role, you’ll partner with Account Executives to be the key technical advisor for customers. You’ll be instrumental in identifying both stated and implicit business needs, and in designing technical solutions to best meet these needs.
At times, you may facilitate “art of the possible” discussions and storytelling to inspire customers to adopt new patterns with confidence, while at other times you will drive creative problem-solving to overcome complex technical challenges. Overall, this role is a key part of the Customer Success team, helping foster sustained customer success and incremental technology adoption.
What You Will Do
- Help advance new and innovative data streaming use cases from conception to Go-Live
- Execute and lead technical Proofs of Concept (POCs)
- Conduct discovery and whiteboard sessions to develop new use cases
- Provide thought leadership by delivering technical talks and workshops
- Guide customers with hands-on support and best practices to drive operational maturity of their deployments
- Analyze customer consumption trends and identify optimization opportunities
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams, serving as a key product advocate across the customer, partner, and industry ecosystem
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and act as a trusted partner
Preferred Education
Master's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Solutions Engineering or similar experience
- Experience with event-driven architecture, data integration and processing techniques, database and data warehouse technologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, migrations, deployment, and application development
- Experience with automation, GitOps, and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or SQL
- Technical certifications in Cloud Development/Architecture, Data Engineering, or Integration
- Demonstrated self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn and solve complex technical problems
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Confidence presenting to a technical audience, including developers, enterprise architects, and senior leadership (C-level)
