About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join this award winning legal team as Legal Counsel.

Working closely with a team of high performing, experienced lawyers in the Melbourne office, you will support your business stakeholders through a wide range of complex and exciting products and commercial arrangements, advise on risk and strategy as well as be a key legal support on a range of areas such as competition and marketing, IP/IT, regulatory matters, corporate, privacy etc.

Skills & Experience

• Corporate & Commercial Lawyers with 3-5 years PQE will be considered. However, it is essential that your legal experience is gained, in full or part, from a top tier Australian law firm.
• Also essential, is your appetite to work in an advisory capacity, not purely transactional.
• Experience in regulatory, corporate/commercial, consumer and competition law, privacy/data, commercial litigation will be highly valued
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing environment
• Ability and enthusiasm to be a key legal lead & advisor across the business
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, confidence and sharp business acumen.
• A motivated and team focused individual who can demonstrate a love of learning and enthusiastic about career progression and making a difference.
