The Opportunity
As our Technical Sales Engineer, you'll draw on your engineering and machining background to provide practical solutions for customers and guide projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and our production teams, you'll become the link between customer requirements and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Respond to technical enquiries and recommend fit for purpose solutions
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to prepare quotations and proposals
- Coordinate material requirements and supplier engagement
- Liaise with production teams to ensure projects remain on track
- Oversee project timelines and delivery milestones
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification in Engineering (Cert III) or a Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Experience working within machining, CNC, or manufacturing environments
- Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- A solutions focused approach and strong problem solving capability
- Good commercial acumen and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
