We are dedicated to building a high‑performance environment underpinned by a strong risk culture, ensuring we deliver the best outcomes for our members.

Your New Role

As a Product Owner within the Digital Products team, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering major member-focused initiatives across AustralianSuper's digital ecosystem. This is a 12-month Max Term Contract opportunity. Unlike a traditional Product Owner accountable for a single product or channel, you'll lead the discovery and delivery of strategic initiatives that span the Member Portal, Mobile App, Public Website and Adviser Portal, aligning delivery across channels and managing dependencies to ensure initiatives complement existing product strategies and experiences. Working within dedicated delivery squads, you'll partner closely with channel Product Owners, UX, Architecture and Technology teams to deliver seamless, connected experiences that create meaningful outcomes for members.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead the discovery, design and delivery of large-scale digital initiatives across multiple member channels.
  • Translate business and program objectives into clear product outcomes, priorities and actionable backlogs.
  • Partner with channel Product Owners to ensure solutions align with channel strategies, roadmaps and member experience objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Technology, Architecture, UX/CX and Journey Leads to shape end-to-end member experiences.
  • Manage dependencies across squads, channels and delivery streams to drive cohesive outcomes.
  • Create and refine user stories, business requirements and acceptance criteria to support effective delivery.
  • Monitor initiative performance and member outcomes, using data and insights to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Act as the key product representative for assigned initiatives, providing clarity, direction and stakeholder engagement throughout delivery.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience delivering complex digital products, initiatives or transformation programs in an Agile environment.
  • Strong Product Owner, Business Analyst or Digital Delivery background with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Experience working across multiple platforms, channels or squads while managing competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Demonstrated capability partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of digital delivery practices including backlog management, refinement, release planning and continuous improvement.
  • Experience collaborating with Technology, Architecture, UX/CX and Engineering teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported by a data-driven approach.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
