About the Role
As an Integration Developer, you will play a key role within cross functional agile squads, designing, developing, and maintaining high quality integration solutions that enable critical business capabilities.
Working closely with architects, business analysts, and product owners, you will deliver scalable, secure, and robust AWS based APIs and microservices. You will also contribute to engineering excellence by driving best practices, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver production-grade AWS APIs and integration services aligned to business requirements and user stories
- Build and deploy microservices using C# .NET Core within iterative agile delivery cycles
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure reliability, scalability, and quality of solutions
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Conduct peer reviews across design, development, and testing artefacts, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Support operational stability through incident resolution, defect fixes, and system enhancements
- Contribute to technical uplift and mentoring within the squad
About You
You are a high performing, collaborative Integration Developer who thrives in an agile delivery environment. You bring strong technical expertise, a passion for building scalable integration solutions, and a continuous improvement mindset.
You are comfortable working across the full delivery lifecycle, from design through to deployment and take pride in delivering high quality outcomes. You enjoy mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and contributing positively to team culture and engineering standards.
Core Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade integration services and RESTful APIs
- Strong hands-on expertise in C# .NET Core and Web API development
- Solid experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, CloudFormation, and SAM
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) with mocking tools
- Sound understanding of source control practices and tools (e.g., Git)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to continuous learning
Nice to Have
- Experience with Node.js and/or Python for integration or backend development
- Exposure to AI/ML tools, platforms, or integrations (e.g., AI-assisted development, AI APIs)
- Front-end development experience (e.g., React, Angular, or modern JavaScript frameworks)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures or messaging patterns
This role is open to candidates based in Perth, Sydney, or Melbourne.
