Marketing Manager
Carbon Neutral
Perth CBD Location - Close to the train station
Permanent, Full-time or Part-time considered for the right person
Help shape the marketing function at one of Australia's leading climate organisations.
Company Description
Carbon Neutral is an Australian-owned carbon project developer and solutions provider with more than two decades of experience. We help Australian businesses measure, reduce, and offset their greenhouse gas emissions: from large-scale biodiverse native reforestation projects across Australia, to carbon advisory services, to high-quality carbon credits across voluntary and compliance markets. As a market leader in one of Australia’s fastest-growing sectors, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help tell our story, strengthen our brand, and deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
About the Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious and proactive. While campaign execution and coordination are core parts of the role, we're looking for someone who goes beyond managing a task list and brings energy to the opportunity.
You'll build relationships across the business — talking to subject matter experts, uncovering client outcomes, and turning real expertise into marketing activity that lands. Rather than waiting for content opportunities, you'll seek them out, ask the right questions, find the angles, and make them happen. You'll take ownership of marketing execution — from campaigns to content to channel management.
This isn't about following a rigid playbook: working closely with the Head of Marketing, you'll have room to bring your own ideas to the table, test approaches, and influence how the function evolves.
As part of a small, close-knit team, you'll have the support around you to make an impact — and as the business grows, so does this role, and so do you.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling marketing content across digital, email and social channels that builds brand awareness and supports commercial growth.
- Plan and deliver integrated B2B marketing campaigns from concept to execution, aligned with audience needs and business objectives.
- Build strong relationships across the business to uncover project updates, client success stories, and technical expertise, and translate them into engaging marketing content.
- Grow our LinkedIn presence through thought leadership, content creation, newsletters and community engagement.
- Support the sales team with high-quality proposals, presentations and marketing collateral that strengthen client conversations.
- Coordinate the ongoing development of our website, including content updates, product listings and optimisation to improve user experience and lead generation.
- Coordinate sponsorships, events, photography and external suppliers to ensure consistent, high-quality brand execution.
- Monitor, analyse and report on campaign and channel performance, using insights to optimise future marketing activity.
- Identify new opportunities, embrace AI and emerging technologies, and contribute ideas that strengthen our marketing function.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or communications, ideally in B2B professional services or a mission-driven sector
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven track record running campaigns independently from brief to execution
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong copywriting skills across formats
- Demonstrated experience managing LinkedIn as a primary marketing channel
- Proficiency in HubSpot (or similar CRM/email tools) and WordPress or equivalent CMS
- Graphic design experience (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign or Canva) is desirable but not essential
- SEO and Google Ads experience is a bonus - there's scope to own this area over time
At Carbon Neutral, we know that diverse perspectives spark stronger ideas and better outcomes.
We’re committed to creating an inclusive, respectful workplace where everyone – regardless of background, identity, ability, or life stage – feels valued and supported. We believe your individuality is an asset, and we encourage you to bring your full self to the role. Together, we can create impact that’s as diverse and dynamic as the world we care for.
