The Opportunity
Due to strong company growth, we are seeking a junior IT support professional to join our national IT team based in Melbourne. You will support the firm’s IT environment, including support for laptops, meeting rooms, printers and mobile devices, as well as applications, software and user access. You will report to the National Operations Manager and work closely with the national IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely, professional and effective technical support to end users.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests via Teams, email and face-to-face interactions.
- Accurately log, prioritise and manage incidents and service requests through Freshservice, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior team members or external vendors where appropriate.
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other end-user technology.
- Administer and support Microsoft technologies including Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Microsoft 365 and related cloud services.
- Assist with user account management, access provisioning, onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes, documentation, knowledge articles and standard operating procedures.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members while fostering a collaborative and customer-centric team environment.

- Permanent resident or citizen of Australia or New Zealand
Qualifications And Experience
- 1–3 years' experience in an IT Service Desk, Help Desk or Desktop Support role within a Microsoft environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Microsoft certifications and/or ITIL Foundation certification will be highly regarded.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Office applications.
- Experience supporting and managing Windows desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and user account administration.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and LAN/WAN environments.
- Experience using Freshservice or a similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.
