We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Engineering Information Coordinator to join us in our ID – Infrastructure Engineering team Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne on a Permanent Full Time basis.

Reporting to the Team Lead Engineering Information, you will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary federated models and supporting the consistent application of BIM standards. You will help ensure model accuracy, constructability, and the integrity of both geometric and non-geometric data, enabling a seamless digital handover into downstream operational systems such as Maximo and ECM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain federated 3D models within Autodesk Forma (previously known as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ACC), ensuring models are accurate, aligned, and meet APA's digital engineering standards.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs, resolve clashes, and support the successful delivery of engineering projects.
  • Support constructability reviews and model coordination to identify opportunities, reduce project risk, and improve delivery outcomes.
  • Champion digital engineering by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Your background

  • Experience in mechanical or piping design within the energy, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure sectors, with an interest in multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with Autodesk Plant 3D is desirable, including model development, project setup, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Working knowledge of creating, maintaining and updating Autodesk Spec Editor, Report Creator, or similar digital engineering tools used to develop engineering deliverables and project documentation.
  • An understanding of BIM, Common Data Environments (Forma), model coordination, and digital engineering principles across the project lifecycle.
  • A collaborative and curious approach, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes while continuously learning and improving.
