About the Role
Randstad Perth is seeking a confident, driven, and resilient individual to join our thriving Industrial team.
While you will step onto a warm desk with some existing relationships, a large and vital part of this role will be focused on proactive Business Development (BD). You will leverage the widely recognised Randstad Brand to open new doors, secure new partnerships, and expand our market share across the blue-collar, logistics, and manufacturing sectors in Western Australia.
We are looking for a natural relationship-builder with a sales mindset who views "no" as just the beginning of a conversation. If you are creative in your sales approach, highly resilient, and love winning as part of a team, this is the desk for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Adaptive Sales & BD: Identify and approach new clients with confidence. If one sales strategy doesn't land, pivot quickly and trial new, innovative approaches until you succeed.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Analyze client workforce challenges and design creative, tailored recruitment solutions that add genuine value to their business.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Balance your BD efforts by managing the full 360° recruitment cycle—sourcing, screening, and placing top-tier industrial talent.
- Relationship Management: Deliver exceptional customer service to both newly acquired and existing clients to ensure long-term retention.
- Collaborative Growth: Share market intelligence, leads, and candidate pipelines with your teammates to drive the entire division forward.
What We Are Looking For
The Ideal Fit: A confident, friendly, and resilient sales professional who loves the thrill of the chase but values a supportive, team-first culture.
- Background: Proven experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales, B2B Sales, or Account Management is highly preferred. Recruitment experience is a bonus, but a successful sales background is key.
- Sales Mindset & Drive: A confident closer who is genuinely unafraid to approach new clients, cold call, and network at a high level.
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: A warm, engaging, and friendly personality that can build instant rapport with everyone from warehouse supervisors to C-suite executives.
- High Resilience: The ability to bounce back quickly from rejection, maintain high energy, and remain self-motivated.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: A sharp analytical mind capable of thinking on your feet to solve complex client staffing issues.
