Our Finance team supports the Melbourne-based businesses across the Mushroom Group, providing financial, commercial and management accounting services across music, touring, merchandise and entertainment. This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of finance activities while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based across our Port Melbourne and South Melbourne offices.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Finance Administrator, you’ll support the day-to-day finance operations across a broad range of functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Coding invoices and preparing them for Accounts Payable processing.
  • Managing the Accounts Receivable function, including debtor follow-up.
  • Processing purchase orders, sales orders and financial settlements for venues, merchandisers and artists.
  • Reconciling clearing and intercompany accounts.
  • Entering and maintaining sales data across the Merchandise Division.
  • Creating and maintaining Square locations and product items.
  • Assisting with project setups, supplier and customer account creation, and invoicing.
  • Supporting the wider Finance team with finance administration and other ad hoc tasks as required.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Administration, Accounts or Accounting role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • A sound understanding of finance processes and compliance principles.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
