About the Role

Service Stream’s Utilities and infrastructure division are currently seeking a Commercial ManagerWater Quality Specialist to join our team. This role will ensure the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of water and wastewater assets by monitoring, assessing, and improving water quality performance across Yarra Valley Water’s maintenance services portfolio, providing expert technical oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting optimisation of treatment and network operations

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Coburg, VIC / Epping, VIC

Reporting Line: HSE Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct water quality compliance audits across assets and networks, ensuring the currency of supervisory and field staff competency in understanding the importance of water quality in prevention of cross contamination
• Drive continuous improvement of Service Streams processes and procedures to aim at best practice water quality management
• Analyse performance data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Lead incident reviews and validate corrective and preventative actions
• Ability to drive innovative process improvements and resolve complex water quality complaints
• Verify accuracy and integrity of sampling, testing, and documentation processes
• Provide technical assurance and recommendations to improve operational practices
• Support regulatory reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
