About the opportunity

A Sprintpak Operator is responsible for the safe, effective and efficient performance of activities on a rotational basis across the Sprintpak site to meet the internal requirements for the production, fulfilment, packing and despatch of philatelic and other product.

Adult Salary: $57,642

You’ll be

Performing pick and pack activities in an accurate and timely manner, performing dispatch activities, undertaking counts of stock and products under limited supervision. You'll also ensure the general cleanliness of the warehouse, ensuring that all goods match documentation and perform general warehouse activities.

About you

• You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and you love working in a team environment.
• You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.
• You’ll also need to be fit enough to lift 16kg of mail regularly and stand for your shift.

• Proven ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow direction and follow documented processes and procedures.
• Ability to perform materials-handling duties either manually or by the operation of manual or powered materials handling equipment.
• Ability to, where required, pick, issue, pack and dispatch orders, including picking stock from the carousel.
Ability to keep maintenance of records such as accurate recordings of daily volume and labour data results for the site
