Kellyville Private Hospital is seeking a Career Medical Officer (CMO) to join our dedicated medical team on a subcontractor basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor with an interest in mental health to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a supportive private hospital environment.
The Opportunity
- Part-time subcontractor position
- Mondays and Tuesdays
- $130 per hour (inclusive of superannuation)

About the Role
Working closely with our Consultant Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality inpatient medical care and support the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing medical assessment and ongoing care for inpatients.
- Managing admissions, reviews and discharges in collaboration with Consultant Psychiatrists.
- Responding to medical concerns and clinical deterioration.
- Liaising with nursing staff, allied health professionals and external providers.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participating in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- An interest in mental health and working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative, patient-centred approach to care.
