Being an Architect in our Gold Coast office, you will shape sustainable, high-quality architectural outcomes through collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams across transport, infrastructure, energy, and water sectors. You will contribute to innovative design solutions, leveraging advanced modelling tools to deliver purposeful and efficient architectural designs. Working in a dynamic team environment, you will help drive design excellence while supporting the delivery of complex, future-focused projects.
The
Opportunity
- Lead the creation and development of Revit models, delivering high-quality design outputs with rapid iteration capabilities
- Contribute to architectural design and planning across building and infrastructure projects as part of a collaborative design team
- Take ownership of small work packages, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to design, document, and deliver sustainable architectural solutions
- Support project coordination and communication across stakeholders to ensure cohesive project outcomes

Is this role right for you?
- A recognised Master of Architecture (or equivalent qualification) with 4–6 years of post-graduate experience
- Experience in architectural or multidisciplinary environments, ideally across sectors such as transport, rail, energy, or infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and design/presentation software
- Ability to work independently with senior guidance while managing small teams or workstreams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and team members

Based on the beautiful Gold Coast, the Gold Coast team supports projects throughout Southeast Queensland and northern NSW while drawing on expertise from Arup's wider national and global network. The office underwent a fit-out in 2022 to create bright open-plan agile work areas, collaboration zones and modern breakout and social spaces reflecting our focus on collaboration, flexibility, and sustainability. Located in Bundall, the design elements are inspired by the Gold Coast's coastal and hinterland landscapes, and the office is well located to cafes, restaurants, transport hubs and stunning views of the Nerang River.
