Intellect Systems is seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to join our Finance team in Perth on a permanent basis. This opportunity is to build practical experience in accounting, financial reporting, and project finance while contributing to a growing, multi-disciplinary organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller the Finance Assistant will support the Finance Department across a variety of functions, including:

• Providing support in financial systems such as Xero and Replicon
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable tasks including progress claims, invoicing, debtor management, and project controls/set-up
• Supporting Accounts Payable activities including reconciling statements and three-way matching
• Assisting with fortnightly payroll
• Gaining exposure to advanced finance functions, including GL reconciliations, month-end reporting, and statutory compliance

About You

• 3 years+ in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel is desirable
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
