What you'll do
- Lead the delivery of power and renewable energy projects, including electrical network upgrades, grid connections, solar PV and battery energy systems.
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle, from feasibility and business case development through to delivery and commissioning.
- Identify opportunities in electrification, renewable energy and emerging technologies, providing strategic, technical and commercial advice to support investment decisions and project approvals.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that support the Port's operational, sustainability and energy objectives.
- Support the implementation of systems and governance frameworks that monitor energy generation, storage and consumption across the Port network.
Passionate, curious and future-focused: Here's who we're looking for.
- You enjoy solving complex problems and connecting the dots between strategy, engineering, commercial outcomes and customer needs.
- You bring a combination of project delivery expertise and technical capability, with experience in areas such as renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, grid connections, energy utilities, major industrial projects, and electrification initiatives.
- You have experience preparing business cases, feasibility studies and strategic project assessments.
- You have strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- You take a collaborative approach with the confidence to take ownership and drive outcomes.
- You enjoy exploring possibilities, testing assumptions and can embrace challenging conventional thinking to find better solutions.
- Whilst holding a tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous it is not essential.
