Due to continued business growth, we're excited to introduce a newly created Acquisition Territory Sales Manager position to help us better support our customers while accelerating our expansion across Queensland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building long-term customer relationships and winning new business. You'll play a pivotal role in growing Siemens' Medium Voltage and protection portfolio across some of Australia's fastest-growing industries, while helping shape the future of Queensland's energy and infrastructure landscape.

About the role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll drive the growth of Siemens' Medium Voltage and Protection portfolio across Queensland, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition across Renewables, Water, Transportation, Data Centres and Resources.

You'll represent Siemens' market-leading Medium Voltage solutions, including switchgear, RMU up to 33kV, protection relays, Fusesaver technology, CMR overhead reclosing and packaged electrical solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to expand Siemens' market presence across Queensland.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and grow revenue across Renewables, Water, Data Centres and Resources verticals
  • Identify new business opportunities while growing and strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and drive successful conversion outcomes.
  • Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, tendering, project and service teams to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Build strategic relationships across key industry sectors and represent Siemens at customer and industry events.
  • Provide market insights to support business growth and future strategy.
  • Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic plans to expand market presence and pipeline in Queensland.

About you

You're an energetic and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building lasting customer relationships and delivering measurable business growth.

You combine strong technical understanding with excellent commercial acumen and enjoy working collaboratively across teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

You'll ideally bring:

  • 5+ years' sales experience within Medium Voltage, electrical infrastructure or related industrial sectors.
  • Proven experience in business development, account management and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and tendering skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience working within Queensland's industrial, utilities, infrastructure or renewable energy markets will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of Medium Voltage switchgear, protection systems, Australian Standards and relevant industry requirements is advantageous.
  • The ability to travel throughout Queensland and other Eastern States as required
