We are looking for a Channel Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity to drive the growth of the AvePoint business across Australia by developing strategic partner relationships, expanding our channel ecosystem, and creating new market opportunities. This role aligns with our focus on cybersecurity growth and partner-led market expansion.

As a Channel Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing the AvePoint partner ecosystem across Australia. Working closely with partners, vendors, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders, you will identify new business opportunities, enable partner success, and drive solution adoption across cybersecurity, business continuity, and Microsoft 365 portfolios.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and expanding the AvePoint partner ecosystem across Australia through strategic partner recruitment and engagement.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and creating partner growth plans that support long-term revenue and market expansion.
  • Building strong relationships with partners, understanding their business objectives, and supporting onboarding and enablement activities.
  • Collaborating with marketing, vendors, and internal stakeholders to execute market development initiatives and drive solution awareness.
  • Providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and channel trends to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
  • Promoting cybersecurity, business continuity, cloud, and Microsoft 365 solutions through partner-led go-to-market initiatives.

What we need to see from you

  • Experience in business development, channel sales, partner management, or ecosystem development within the technology industry.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, business continuity, cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, or related solutions.
  • Understanding of partner-led go-to-market strategies, channel programs, and vendor ecosystems.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and influence business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and partners.
