About the Role

As Assistant Centre Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to support the daily operation of the service while helping to build an engaged, high-performing team and ensuring exceptional experiences for children and families.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day operations of the service
  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring educators to deliver high-quality learning outcomes
  • Assisting with compliance, rostering, occupancy growth, and operational performance
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and the local community
  • Supporting the centre's journey towards achieving and maintaining excellence against the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • Creating a positive and collaborative team culture where educators feel valued and supported
  • Acting as the Centre Manager in their absence when required

About You

You are a confident and supportive leader who is passionate about early childhood education and developing others to succeed.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Previous leadership experience as an Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader, Lead Educator, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Demonstrated ability to support compliance, team development, and centre performance outcomes
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children, families, and educators
