About the Role
As Assistant Centre Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to support the daily operation of the service while helping to build an engaged, high-performing team and ensuring exceptional experiences for children and families.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day operations of the service
- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring educators to deliver high-quality learning outcomes
- Assisting with compliance, rostering, occupancy growth, and operational performance
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and the local community
- Supporting the centre's journey towards achieving and maintaining excellence against the National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Creating a positive and collaborative team culture where educators feel valued and supported
- Acting as the Centre Manager in their absence when required
About You
You are a confident and supportive leader who is passionate about early childhood education and developing others to succeed.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Previous leadership experience as an Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader, Lead Educator, or similar role
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Demonstrated ability to support compliance, team development, and centre performance outcomes
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children, families, and educators
