We’re looking for a HR Consultant who is a commercially minded HR professional that enjoys working on people initiatives and leading HR projects to design and implement contemporary people solutions.

This position has a focus on project delivery and continuous improvement and would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety and who has broad HR experience across industrial and employee relations, health and safety and organisational development.

About the role

  • Provide expert HR advice on a wide range of HR projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Support organisational design initiatives that align people, structure and strategy.
  • Develop and review HR frameworks and tools to ensure best-practice outcomes.
  • Review policies and procedures to ensure they are best practice and compliant with all relevant legislation and recent changes.
  • Develop business cases, recommendations, packs for endorsement and implementation plans for strategic people initiatives.
  • Develop and review HR frameworks and tools to ensure best-practice outcomes.
  • Analyse workforce data, trends and insights to inform decision-making.

About you

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior HR consulting, HR advisory, organisational development or HR project role.
  • Strong project management skills and experience delivering complex HR initiatives.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations and contemporary HR practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for delivering practical business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of industry leading HR practices, models and solutions.
  • Excellent written ability, with the capability to prepare business cases for executive review.
