Are you a commercially sharp leisure sales leader with strong relationships across inbound, wholesale and travel trade markets? This is an exciting opportunity to represent one of Australia’s most distinctive hotel collections and play a key role in growing strategic leisure partnerships for our three premium Cairns properties: Crystalbrook Riley, Crystalbrook Bailey and Crystalbrook Flynn.

We are now seeking an experienced Account Director to join our Sales and Distribution team. Reporting to the Area Director, Sales, this role will be responsible for driving qualified leisure revenue across our Cairns portfolio, developing and managing high-value partnerships across the inbound, wholesale and leisure travel sectors.

This position can be based in Cairns or Sydney, with regular domestic and occasional international travel required.

The Opportunity

This is a commercially focused role with real scope to influence revenue growth, strengthen long-term customer partnerships and position Crystalbrook Collection as a preferred hotel partner within key leisure markets.

You will work closely with Global Sales, Revenue, Distribution and Hotel Operations to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic account plans and deliver profitable revenue for our three properties in Cairns.

What you will be doing

You will build and grow strategic relationships with inbound tour operators, wholesalers and leisure travel partners, while identifying new opportunities that increase market share and drive sustainable revenue growth.

In this role, you will develop annual account plans, lead quarterly business reviews and share market insights that support smart commercial decisions. You will also proudly represent Crystalbrook Collection at trade shows, sales missions, networking events, familiarisations and client engagement activities, helping to grow trusted partnerships across key leisure markets.

With Salesforce as a key tool, you will maintain strong pipeline visibility, accurate account activity and regular performance reporting, ensuring our commercial strategy remains focused, informed and effective.

About you

You are a confident and credible sales professional with demonstrated experience managing strategic leisure accounts across a premium or luxury hotel portfolio. You understand the inbound, wholesale and leisure travel landscape and know how to build partnerships that deliver mutual value.

You bring strong commercial acumen, polished negotiation skills and the ability to influence outcomes through trusted relationships. You are highly organised, comfortable working autonomously and able to translate market insights into commercially effective sales strategies.

You will also bring

  • Proven success growing inbound, wholesale and leisure travel partnerships
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and delivering against revenue targets
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
  • Confidence working across multiple internal stakeholders, including Revenue, Distribution and Hotel Operations
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Full Australian working rights
