Position Overview
StepStone is looking for a customer-centric, detail-oriented individual who will work with a team that manages fund operations and client relations for the StepStone Australia Funds. The person should have a solid understanding of investment operations and strong communication skills.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage communication with the fund’s Australia transfer agent and administrator to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Coordinate with the fund’s Responsible Entity (RE) to resolve operational matters efficiently
- Assist clients with onboarding and any operations-related queries
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the EMEA Operations team to ensure accurate trade processing.
- Collaborate with the legal team to update documentation and ensure timely approval and implementation.
- Assist due diligence team to complete information requests promptly and accurately.
- Monitor quarterly KPIs for both external service providers and internal performance metrics.
- Maintain a project tracker for open items and ensure timely updates across teams.
- Ensure all data providers, platforms and pricing sources receive accurate and up to date information.
- Assist and contribute to projects and analyses for the private wealth and business development teams.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Highly organized and self-directed individual who pays close attention to detail and can multi-task among various projects.
- Committed to meeting deadlines and progressing workstreams across multiple teams with limited supervision.
- Effective and clear communication skills, both verbally and written, with all levels of personnel, both internal and external.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with proven track record of leading projects and initiatives from beginning to end.
- Highly motivated, ambitious individual with a growth mindset that flourishes in a challenging, fast-paced, and professional environment with frequent shifts of priorities as business needs dictate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management or business preferred
- One+ year of related financial services experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
- Proven customer service skills
