Fire Systems Designer / Senior Fire Systems Designer

Location: Darwin, Brisbane or Sydney (Office Based)

At Endfire Engineering, you'll help deliver complex fire protection & special hazards systems for some of Australia's most significant Defence, healthcare, major infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects.

We're looking for an experienced Fire Systems Designer or Senior Fire Systems Designer who enjoys solving technical challenges, working closely with project teams and seeing their designs successfully delivered on site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design fire protection systems including sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel and fire detection & alarm systems
• Produce detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Coordinate designs with project teams, consultants and other building services
• Participate in BIM coordination and resolve design clashes
• Provide technical support throughout construction, ensuring designs are practical, compliant and buildable
• Support estimating, procurement and project delivery where required

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have

• Experience designing fire protection systems within a contractor or building services environment
• Strong knowledge of Australian fire protection standards and design principles
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

• Diploma in Fire Systems Design (or equivalent experience)
• QBCC Licence, NSW Design Practitioner, FPAS Accreditation or similar
• Willingness to act as, or obtain, a company nominee licence where applicable
