THE ROLE
As the Property Systems Lead, you'll take ownership of the technology that keeps our properties operating safely, securely and efficiently. From resident safety platforms and access control systems to operational technology across our national portfolio, you'll lead the strategy, support and continuous improvement of critical property systems.
Day-to-day you will be (but not limited to):
- Own the operational performance, reliability and lifecycle of property technology systems
- Lead system upgrades, deployments and continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex property technology incidents
- Manage vendors, system integrators and service providers to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Drive security, compliance and governance across operational technology platforms
- Partner with Operations, Facilities, Cyber Security and IT teams to deliver exceptional service
- Support budgeting, forecasting and lifecycle planning for property technology assets
- Develop documentation, standards and processes while mentoring the Service Desk team
Please note: This role requires participation in an on-call roster and occasional interstate travel across our national portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing property technology, operational technology or enterprise infrastructure environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking fundamentals and IT service management principles (ITIL)
- Experience managing vendors, technology projects and multi-site operations
- Understanding of cyber security, risk management and technology governance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused with strong leadership capability
- Experience within property, hospitality, retirement living or student accommodation will be highly regarded
