If you're an experienced Flood Engineer looking to take ownership of technically rewarding projects while working alongside highly respected engineering professionals, this is an outstanding opportunity to elevate your career.

You'll lead flood investigations, hydraulic modelling and flood impact assessments across a broad range of developments including land development, urban renewal, transport and major infrastructure projects. Working closely with developers, councils and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative, practical and technically robust flood solutions.

You'll ideally bring

• Strong consulting experience delivering flood modelling and hydraulic engineering projects.
• Advanced working knowledge of TUFLOW, together with experience using software such as HEC-RAS, RORB, XP-RAFTS, DRAINS, MUSIC or similar hydraulic and hydrologic modelling packages.
• Experience preparing flood studies, flood impact assessments and development applications.
• Strong understanding of Queensland flood planning policies and local authority requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to business growth.
