The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to work in our Sydney Insurance practice. Supporting a Partner and their busy team, you will display a willingness to learn and have experience in litigation from within a fast-paced and ideally high-volume law practice group. You will be regarded as an integral member who will provide superior administrative support and a variety of ad-hoc duties.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Opening and closing of files;
  • Preparing legal documents;
  • Online court filing;
  • Billing;
  • File management;
  • Diary management;
  • Preparation and reconciliation of expenses;
  • Client liaison and management; and
  • PA duties as required.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years Legal/Personal Assistant experience with excellent communication and diary management skills, with a client service focus. You will be proficient in MS Word and formatting, and have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, and have exceptional attention to detail. A professional outlook, backed by a great sense of humour would see you fit in well with the team.
