As the business continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced development executive to lead a significant development portfolio while helping shape the future direction of the organisation's growth strategy.

About The Role

Leading a team of development professionals, you will be responsible for overseeing projects across the full development lifecycle, ensuring strong commercial outcomes, effective stakeholder management and successful project delivery.

This role extends well beyond traditional development management. It offers the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, drive commercial performance and play a key role in shaping the organisation's future growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in influencing development strategy, improving portfolio performance, challenging existing approaches, driving innovation and supporting the organisation's next phase of growth.

Operating across multiple projects simultaneously, you will provide leadership through feasibility, planning, approvals, design, construction and delivery while working closely with executive stakeholders across the business.

Key areas of focus include:

• Leading a portfolio of development projects from concept through to completion
• Driving commercial outcomes, project performance and investment returns
• Identifying opportunities to improve project efficiency, yield and portfolio value
• Providing strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team
• Managing external consultants, contractors and delivery partners
• Leading planning, approvals and stakeholder engagement activities
• Driving innovation across development delivery and built form
• Overseeing project budgets, governance and risk management
• Building and leading a high-performing development team
• Supporting future growth opportunities and strategic expansion initiatives

The Person

You are an experienced property development executive who has successfully led complex development portfolios within sophisticated property, infrastructure, construction or investment environments.

You bring a proven track record of delivering projects from concept through to completion while balancing commercial performance, stakeholder expectations and delivery excellence.

Commercially astute and strategically minded, you are comfortable operating at both an executive and operational level. You are confident challenging assumptions, improving development outcomes, influencing investment decisions and identifying opportunities to maximise value creation.

Importantly, you are a genuine people leader. You have successfully built and developed high-performing teams, created accountability, fostered collaboration and led through periods of growth and change.

You are recognised for your ability to influence senior stakeholders, build trusted relationships and bring people together around common objectives.

While your experience may have been gained across a range of sectors, backgrounds within property development, residential communities, masterplanned communities, mixed-use development, infrastructure or other large-scale development environments will be highly regarded.
