Tableau Developer

We're partnering with a well-known organisation that is in the middle of a significant cloud transformation program and they're looking to bring on an experienced Tableau Developer to support a large-scale reporting and analytics migration.

Working across multiple business units, you'll partner closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, improve existing dashboards and support the migration of critical reporting assets. This role isn't just about building dashboards, you'll also be involved in problem solving, improving business processes and helping users get the most value from their reporting.

You'll be responsible for

• Developing, enhancing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Supporting a large-scale cloud migration by helping move reporting from legacy environments into a modern reporting platform.
• Connecting Tableau to enterprise data sources including SAP HANA and other business systems.
• Troubleshooting dashboard performance, workbook issues, duplicate records and data quality problems.
• Working with Excel extracts and enterprise datasets to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Supporting users throughout the migration by resolving reporting issues and providing ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborating with project teams, business analysts and technical teams to deliver reporting improvements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and create more efficient ways of delivering business insights.

You'll ideally bring

• Strong commercial experience developing Tableau dashboards and visualisations.
• Experience working with large enterprise datasets and reporting environments.
• Exposure to SAP HANA or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting Tableau workbooks, data connections and reporting issues.
• Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of data structures.
• Experience supporting reporting or data migration projects would be highly regarded.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
