We are partnering with a highly respected, well-established consultancy recognised as a leader in Building Services Engineering and Building Compliance. With a strong reputation in delivering technically complex, compliance-driven projects across Australia, the business is continuing to grow its Fire Services capability and is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Designer to join their Perth team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid to senior-level designer who is confident technically and looking to take the next step within a highly professional and supportive environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the design and documentation of fire protection systems across a range of building types, working closely with engineers and compliance specialists to deliver safe, practical and fully compliant design solutions.

Projects span across

• Commercial office developments and tenancy fit-outs
• High-rise residential and mixed-use developments
• Health and aged care facilities
• Education and institutional buildings
• Industrial, warehousing and specialist facilities
• Performance-based fire safety and building compliance projects

Key Responsibilities

• Design and documentation of fire protection systems in line with Australian Standards and NCC requirements
• Preparation of detailed fire services drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams including fire engineers, building surveyors and architects
• Support compliance and certification processes through accurate and well-documented design outputs
• Contribution to design development from concept through to construction stages

About You

• Proven experience as a Fire Protection Designer within the Australian building services industry
• Mid to senior-level capability (minimum 4+ years’ experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Solid understanding of NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a consultancy environment
• Detail-focused with a strong commitment to quality and compliance
