Our client is a fast-growing Australian PropTech business providing a leading property data and mapping platform that enables property professionals to make faster, more informed, and insight-driven decisions.
The platform consolidates comprehensive property intelligence into a single, intuitive system, allowing users to analyze zoning, planning overlays, land data, development applications, and broader property insights through advanced mapping and analytics tools.
Operating with a lean team of approximately 16 employees, including a 6-person sales function, the business has recently secured additional funding to accelerate product development and commercial expansion.
The platform is widely used across the property ecosystem, including developers, valuers, real estate agents, planners, and commercial advisory professionals who rely on accurate, real-time property data to support acquisition, valuation, feasibility, and development decisions.
The Opportunity
This is an Account Executive role within a high-velocity SaaS sales environment.
The core focus of the role is converting free trial users into paying subscription customers, alongside managing inbound opportunities generated through automated email sequencing and marketing activity.
You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by helping users quickly realise the value of the platform and converting high-intent product users into long-term paying customers.
This is a short-cycle, high-volume sales role requiring strong urgency, commercial discipline, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities efficiently. Typical sales cycles are 2–3 weeks.
What You'll Be Doing
- Convert free trial users into paying subscription customers.
- Manage and follow up on inbound leads and automated email sequencing campaigns.
- Engage with real estate professionals, property developers, valuers, and commercial agents.
- Conduct structured product walkthroughs and online demonstrations.
- Manage full end-to-end sales cycles (typically 2–3 weeks).
- Drive subscription growth and improve overall conversion performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach, messaging, and sales processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, pain points, and use cases.
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within the existing customer base.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in SDR, Account Executive, or Business Development roles.
- Real estate or property industry experience is essential.
- Background in PropTech, Real Estate, Property Services, or SaaS highly desirable.
- Proven ability to convert leads and close deals within short sales cycles.
- Strong experience in high-volume, fast-paced sales environments.
- Excellent communication, discovery, and consultative selling skills.
- Commercially driven with a strong performance mindset.
- Motivated by uncapped commission and clear career progression opportunities.
