We're partnering with a growing IT solutions provider looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the Australian market.

This is a genuine hunter role where you'll own the full sales cycle, building relationships with mid-market and enterprise organisations while delivering tailored cloud, SaaS and managed technology solutions. Working closely with technical specialists, you'll develop new opportunities, build pipeline and drive deals through to close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and strategic relationship building.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements with business and technical stakeholders to understand customer challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical specialists to develop solution-based proposals.
  • Partner with the marketing team on campaigns, events and lead generation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM activity.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies.

About You

You'll be a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys hunting new business, building relationships and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

You'll also bring

  • Proven success in a Business Development, Account Executive or New Business Sales role.
  • Experience selling SaaS, cloud, IT services, managed services, telecommunications, cybersecurity or other B2B technology solutions.
  • A strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding new business sales targets.
  • Confidence engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
  • A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach to business development.
