Location: Sydney
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analysis Senior Specialist with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of telecom business processes and be adept at translating complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to drive project success and deliver value to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify and document requirements for telecom projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business needs and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states of business processes.
- Support project management activities, including project planning, risk assessment, and status reporting.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on industry best practices and emerging trends in the telecom sector.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in business analysis within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of telecom business processes, systems, and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of telecom regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems used in the telecom industry.
- Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
