The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Rostering Manager to lead our Personal Support rostering function across Forward Ability Support.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will ensure our clients receive safe, consistent, and uninterrupted support services by overseeing the delivery of efficient, compliant, and person-centred rostering. You’ll lead a dedicated team, optimise workforce utilisation, and partner closely with operational leaders to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support the Personal Support rostering team to deliver efficient, high-quality rostering services.
- Ensure safe and consistent service delivery by coordinating workforce coverage for planned, short-notice, and emergency shifts.
- Balance client needs, workforce availability, award requirements, and operational priorities when making rostering decisions.
- Partner with operational leaders to proactively plan workforce coverage and minimise service disruptions.
- Monitor rostering performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and develop the rostering team while promoting a collaborative, service-focused culture.

You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading a rostering or workforce scheduling team, ideally within disability, health, aged care, or community services.
- Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, workforce planning, award interpretation, and rostering compliance.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality services and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience ensuring service coverage in 24/7 or client-critical environments.
Experience using ShiftCare or a similar workforce management/rostering system.
