Uber is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage systems and investigate performance trends within our Core Operations team. This role is built for a structured problem-solver who excels at maintaining data accuracy and improving internal tools.
Role: Process and Driver Access Associate
Location: SYD with hybrid work options available.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 12 months
Pay rate: $40.84p/h - $44.42p/h plus super (based on experience)
Shift times: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm

What you’ll do
System Administration: Oversee internal tools and databases governing driver access, ensuring data integrity and resolving technical discrepancies.
Performance Diagnostics: Monitor key metric fluctuations to identify root causes and provide data-backed recommendations for remediation.
Compliance Execution: Lead technical compliance workstreams, utilizing advanced spreadsheets and query tools to maintain operational standards.
Product Liaison: Partner with Product teams to test and validate new onboarding features, translating operational needs into functional requirements.
Trend Analysis: Support strategic initiatives by analyzing historical performance to help shape the future of driver access.

Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in operations, technology, or high-growth startup environments.
Problem Structuring: Strong ability to break down complex issues and present findings through clear visual reporting.
Technical Proficiency: High level of skill in Excel or Google Sheets and experience using SQL for data retrieval.
Education: University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
