CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Senior Advisor – Community & Stakeholder Engagement for our client working on mining and resource projects based in Darwin, NT.

This role will suit a hands-on Senior Advisor – Community & Stakeholder Engagement with strong experience delivering community and stakeholder engagement initiatives, ideally within mining, resources or major infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver community and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Traditional Owners, Indigenous organisations, government and community stakeholders.
  • Lead sponsorships, community initiatives and high-profile events.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on engagement and corporate affairs.
  • Prepare high-quality internal and external communications.
  • Manage government and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Coordinate site communications and engagement programs.
  • Monitor project priorities and provide accurate reporting.
  • Promote a positive reputation through effective community engagement.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in community and stakeholder engagement within mining, resources, infrastructure or a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Traditional Owners and Indigenous communities.
  • Strong government, corporate affairs and stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent written communication and report writing skills.
  • Experience coordinating community events, sponsorships and engagement initiatives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and project planning skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Community Engagement or a related field.
  • Darwin-based and able to work the required roster.
