The Opportunity

Are you looking to work closer to home? SEE Group have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced

Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People and Culture team on a 12-month fixed term basis. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a key role in shaping our workforce, driving our talent acquisition strategy, and contributing to our employer brand. You'll be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier talent to support SEE Group's continued growth and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job requisition, sourcing, interviewing, assessing and presenting candidates to hiring managers
  • Proactively identify and engage with potential candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks and industry events
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to ensure alignment with SEE Group's values, culture and job requirements
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
  • Contribute to building and maintaining SEE Group's employer brand through compelling job postings and a positive candidate experience
  • Stay across industry trends, salary benchmarks and best practice in talent acquisition to provide valuable insights to the business
  • Foster relationships with candidates to build a strong talent pipeline for current and future positions
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive start
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects while maintaining focus on priorities
  • Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating and administering contracts
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Knowledge of Employment Law principles, ideally within a civil construction business
  • Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, Employment Law or similar (desirable)
