Data Business Analyst - Data & AI

We are seeking a highly motivated

Data Business Analyst to join our Data & AI team and play a pivotal role in shaping how data, analytics, and AI are leveraged across the organisation

What You Will Be Doing

The Data Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Data & AI team, translating business challenges into data, analytics and AI solutions.

Working closely with Clinical, Operations, Workforce, Finance and ICT teams, you will support the delivery of reporting, data platform, Power Platform and AI initiatives using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering data, analytics, BI or AI initiatives as a Business Analyst.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and process mapping skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform and AI/Copilot technologies.
• Understanding data modelling, reporting, KPIs and analytics concepts.
• Experience supporting testing, UAT and solution delivery in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, security and Responsible AI principles.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for driving business improvement through data and AI.
• Experience in aged care, healthcare or other regulated industries would be well regarded
• Experience with APIs, integrations and data governance frameworks.
• Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder or Power Platform AI solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage across all levels
• Strong documentation and reporting capability
• Valid right to Work in Australia
• Valid driver’s licence
• Current National Police check/ NDIS check (or willingness to obtain)

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Business, IT, Data Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience. Microsoft, Agile or Business Analysis certifications are highly regarded.
