This is an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse and high-performing region spanning Brisbane's south-west corridor through to Toowoomba. Supporting a team across Sunnybank, Mount Ommaney, Browns Plains, Springfield, Ipswich and Toowoomba, you'll lead experienced Business Bankers who are passionate about helping local businesses thrive. We're looking for a strategic, people-focused leader who can inspire performance, strengthen capability and continue delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

This role is based in Brisbane CBD and involves regular travel across the region to support branch teams and customers.

Do work that matters

As an Executive Manager, you'll lead the financial, customer and risk performance of the region while developing a team of Business Bankers to deliver outstanding customer experiences and business outcomes. You'll drive strategic initiatives, build capability and foster a high-performance culture, while playing a key role in the continued success of Small Business Banking across Queensland.

More specifically you will

• Execute strategic initiatives aligned with Business Banking priorities.

• Build and maintain a high-performing, customer-centric culture.

• Lead recruitment, retention and engagement strategies to support team success.

• Deliver strong outcomes across customer advocacy, financial performance and risk management.

• Partner with Customer Service Network (Branch) peers to drive regional business growth.

• Proactively manage operational and compliance risk, including data quality and AML/KYC obligations.

• Support team capability in credit origination processes for lending up to $1.5M.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated leadership experience in Business Banking.

• A genuine passion for people leadership, with a focus on coaching, mentoring and growing high-performing teams.

• Proven success in delivering financial and customer outcomes in a high-volume environment.

• Experience in commercial lending, credit structuring and driving business growth.

• Ability to build a culture of accountability and proactively manage both financial and non-financial risk.

• Degree qualified in finance or business (postgraduate qualifications preferred).

• CAA and FRSA Tier 2 Accreditation.
