Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Support Worker role based in Ballarat, VIC. As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily living tasks, personal care, and meal preparation, as well as provide community access, transport, and in-home support services. You will contribute to enhancing clients’ quality of life by supporting life skills development and meeting their unique needs in a compassionate and professional manner.

This role requires clear, confident and high level English communication skills, both verbally and written.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, assistance with daily living, and life skills development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage compassionately with clients of diverse backgrounds
• Ability to provide community access, transport, shopping assistance, and support for appointments
• Competency in domestic assistance, meal preparation, and in-home respite care
• Certifications in Individual Support or community services (e.g., Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or Diploma of Community Services) are highly desirable
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Valid WWCC
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• A valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance
