About The Role
As an IT Service Desk Technician, you'll be a key member of our IT Service Desk, providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to employees across the business. You'll take ownership of incidents from start to finish, troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues, and play an important role in maintaining a high-quality IT support experience.
This is an opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with experienced IT professionals and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across hardware, software, networking and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Windows devices, Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and Active Directory/Entra ID.
- Manage incidents and service requests through the full ticket lifecycle using our ITSM platform.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, MFA and device access.
- Support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and peripheral hardware.
- Assist with Microsoft Intune device enrolment and management.
- Escalate complex issues where required while ensuring users are kept informed throughout the resolution process.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to Graduate Service Desk Analysts.
About You
You'll be a proactive and customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and delivering excellent service. You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with stakeholders and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
You'll also bring:
- 1–2 years' experience in an IT Service Desk or Technical Support role.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and user access issues.
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MS-900 or similar (desirable).
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience (preferred but not essential).
